RibFest Volunteers Needed

Once again Big Brothers Big Sisters Brockville RibFest is currently seeking volunteers of all ages to help out in various areas of RibFest on August 5^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th. This volunteer opportunity is a great way for you to experience RibFest first hand. High school students are able to gain their community service hours by volunteering throughout the weekend.

Some of the areas we need help with include:

The Kidz Zone - In need of people capable of doing face painting on August 5^th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and August 7^th from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and August 8^th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Corn Booth on August 5^th from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and August 7^th from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteer a few hours in the corn booth and help prepare the corn for grilling. All proceeds made at this booth go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville.

Front Gate Greeters are needed on August 5^th from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 11p.m. August 7^th from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Greeters stand at the front gate and welcome people to RibFest. Bring your smile!

The metro Booth on August 5^th from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and August 7^th from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteers in the metro Booth sell hot dogs, drinks and chips. All proceeds from the metro Booth support Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Parking: There is parking available and this lot requires a parking attendant to monitor the vehicles and to collect the parking fee. Attendants are needed on August 5^th from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. August 7^th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. ADULTS PREFERRED

Road Closure: Attendants are needed in assisting with the road closure barricades on Water St on August 5^th from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. August 7^th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Information Booth: on August 5^th from 4p.m. until 10 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. August 7^th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Big Green Lottery Ticket sales : Patti Lewis will be in charge of all ticket sales at Brockville RibFest. Selling tickets for our Big Green Lottery. August 5^th from 4p.m. until 10 p.m., August 6^th from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. August 7^th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and August 8^th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.ADULTS PREFERRED

Setup and tear down: setup on Wednesday August 4^th and tear down on Monday August 9^th.

So please help Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteer for a few hours, an entire day or all weekend!
